Bro?
Meh: Not my taste in music, I prefer something that I can run to, plus the song seemed to give me a headache for some reason.

Because this song is clearly a revelation and one of the best of the year.
Let me guess, you have better musical taste than I do or anyone else in this thread, right?
What is your favorite colour? It doesn't matter because I bet my favorite colour is better than your favorite colour. God, I just can't discuss colours with anyone these days.

I listen to 92.9... and I'm glad I missed the song.
Looking at the youtube comments... it appears some agree with you OP.
Bring world peace? bringing people together? chills in the spine? ace? perfection? Wow people...

I stated my opinion that this a top ten song of the year, and I'm not appreciative of your attempts generalize me into a demeaning category.
I didn't realize sharing musical tastes was an indictable offence on the forum.

Ok, this is CP. You need to realize that having an opinion on anything is an indictable offense on this forum.

I'm a huge fan of The Cure, so Robert Smith is pretty much a hero to me. My opinion on the song. I like the synth style but it just didn't really do it for me.
I was literally just listening to Gary Numan's "The Pleasure Principle" album though and I think my dick literally exploded so it's hard to judge anything after listening to a masterpiece.
On the cool story bro note I believe it was Crystal Castles who opened for NIN on their last tour. It wasn't my cup of pee to tell you the truth.

Not my thing, this song.
Which is a cover of a 1984 Platinum Blonde song, "Not In Love."
Here's the original.
Hit #17 on the Canadian charts according to wikipedia.

Crystal Castles rocks. Saw them open for NIN a few years back and I was hooked.

I'm a big fan of Crystal Castles.
I love Alice Practice and Air War.
Love and Caring is also an awesome song.

I am also a big Crystal Castles fan. Their 2008 album is unreal. I hadn't heard anything from them in a while but i'm excited now it looks like they've got some new stuff coming out.
Untrust Us, Alice Practice, Crimewave, Magic Spells, Courtship Dating, Good Time, Vanished and Knights are all fantastic songs off their first album.
After listening a couple times to this Robert Smith collaberation, i'm really digging it.

If you liked Crystal Castles I you should check out Crystal Castles II that came out in the spring. The Robert Smith remix isn't on the album but the album version is even better. I would still rank it behind Celestica and Suffocation on the album and Robert Smith behind Mark Holmes regarding the song.

Crystal Castles opened for NIN a couple years ago when they came to the saddledome, and they are the only band I have ever seen booed (work at the Saddledome and see most of the concerts that come through there). I don't think it was unjustified either, as her vocals were pretty bad that night, but I felt pretty bad for them. Never realized how successful they were until this year though, they seem to be quite a bit bigger than I realized.
