The No. 2 fast food chain debuted its Enormous Omelet Sandwich Monday. The sandwich has one sausage patty, two eggs, two American cheese slices and three strips of bacon.
That works out to 730 calories and 47 grams of fat -- more than a Whopper burger, which the Burger King Web site said has 700 calories and 42 grams of fat.
Skim milk with that maam??

That is about 1/3 of your total daily calories depending on your size..........
I bet someone is going to have a heart attck right in Burger King when they try to eat one of those.
And you wonder why the US has an obesity problem??

They do have some valid points when they talk about Dennys.
Are they being criticized for there Breakfast offerings?
Comes down to the cosumer i guess. If you really want those calories buy one.
If not get something else. Sheesh people need to take some responsablilty for there choices.

What exactly is "American cheese" anyway? Is that just a nice way of saying "processed cheese"?

They should specially tax this stuff, just to subsidize all the heart surgery down the road, like cigarettes.

Just saw a blurb about this "breakfast" on the news. They had some nutritionist on saying that something like this will take 10 hours to digest and a lot of good stuff (ie blood) that has to go to your fat gut to digest it will be sorely missed elsewhere, especially in your brain. It'll make most people drowsy and mentally stunted.
They showed some greasy-faced fattie cramming one down with fries and a coke at 8am and he said "it was good, I'll think I'll go get another one" and he did.
All is not all bad though. A Starbucks Frappuccinno contains 930 calories -- 200 more than this sandwich. Take that Yuppie!

I remember seeing that a year ago at Safeway...needless to say, it did last very long.
Every so often I have the Hungry Man with Buffalo Chicken wings, fries and corn with desert...not bad...and can't be worst chicken then any wings served at a local pub, healthwise.

Yeah, but a serving size for Kraft Dinner is not supposed to be THE ENTIRE BOX. That crazy breakfast sandwich is.
