Default Where to buy a 120 volt baseboard heater (installed)

The baseboard heater in our condo is dead. I believe there is a short in the heating coil. I tried replacing the thermostat, but that didn't help.

The old heater is 120 volt 1000 watt, with an integrated thermostat (25+ years old).

I've looked at a few of the hardware stores and have only found 240 volt heaters. I mistakenly installed a 240 volt heater, which of course didn't output much heat at all.

Anyone know where I can pick up a new 120 volt one?

Thanks!

Do you pay condo fees? Why not just call up the mtce guy to fix it?

That's not considered common property? It was in my building.

Anything inside of the condo isn't considered common property, but I guess its worth a shot.

For us, the heating system was not considered to be inside. We had hot water baseboard radiators though.

We had a slow drip at the control valve in our bedroom that dripped enough water onto the carpet behind a dresser to literally grow mushrooms on the carpet and mold on the drywall but not enough to soak out past the dresser where we could see any moisture. It dripped for over a month.

The repair and service costs were taken care of by the condo board for the heating system but the mold and water damaged were taken care of by me.

Thanks, I'll check out eecol. It isn't covered by our condo.
