10 Questions with...
CHEESE. KG was supposed to be next but he is out doing a cheeseburger eating contest.
MJK: Welcome Cheese, where were you born?
Cheese: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
MJK: Was it still a part of Europe back then?
Cheese: Yes, the Ukraine actually. My family owned the Southern part of the province. Farmers, all of them.
MJK: Interesting. Who is actually older, you or Axel?
Cheese: Depends on how you look at it? If you cut us straight across the waist and compare rings like you would on a tree stump, Axels would have more rings. If you compared us based on experience and knowledge I'd win hands down.
MJK: I am unfamiliar with the term trees. There are none of those in the arctic.
MJK: If you could sit down and talk, face-to-face, with any 5 GM’s in the CPHL, who would you choose?
Cheese: Good question, I’ve met quite a few already. Id first like to chew the fat with my favorite Inuit friend MJK...we share many things in common and outside of our diet it could result in one of the best all time pissers in the history of the CPHL. Matt from Dallas is an interesting bloke and Id like to visit him in NY one of these days to see if he really acts like an accountant. Victor...yes Vic...great guy, we’ve had some really good in depth conversations! Did you know he likes wearing women’s underwear?
MJK: No I was not aware of that but I will be sure to bring it up every chance I get from now on.
Cheese: How many is that?
MJK: That’s only 3. Keep going slacker.
Cheese: Ravi...I mean how can you not love dealing with this guy? At least 6 times I have talked deal while he was working....and he's a surgeon! None of this was on PM either.
MJK: I would NOT want Ravi performing surgery on me. He’s probably checking PM’s while cutting.
Cheese: Steve...NJ GM....always searching for the way to improve his team. I never have an answer for him because there is no hope. Next!
MJK: I have also met quite a few GM. I have sat down had had beers with Grant, Supernerd(anyone remember him???) and KG. Grant and supernerd are normal but KG…well let’s just say he is special lad.
MJK: Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
Cheese: Good question. I was always plugged up, irregular. Tried just about everything I could, Ex Lax, Prunes, Bran Flakes...nothing worked. Let me tell you as a veggie I can literally squat and aim now and no issue whatsoever. I can also do it with more energy than I’ve ever had!
MJK: Wow your doctor must be pumped now that he doesn’t have to go sifting through crap to do your annual prostate exam. Seeing as it is Movember, is it true that if you are over 40 you have to have one every year?
Cheese: 50 actually, unless you enjoy the exam. The blood test is no big issue, the finger wiggle is another story! Make sure your doctor is wearing rubber gloves!
MJK: 1 exam every year after 50…ouch. Doing some quick math here you have had over 20 exams….I feel for you.
MJK: What do you do for a living?
Cheese: Im President of Canada...wait...that was another life. Im the Senior Operations Manager for Ontario for a Boston based Energy firm. Basically I take government money and dole it out to large consumers of electricity and then have them all reduce energy at the same time...thus saving blackouts and high costs of electricity.
MJK: Wow I regret asking that question, half the readers are now asleep.
MJK: In your opinion, is or was Iginla ever a superstar.
Cheese: Thanks for the easy questions Dave, appreciated!! Iginla has always been a very good player, a great player at times. Being great does not equate to being handed the superstar label. There have been many great players in the NHL and none of them would be called superstars except by their hometeam fans. Thats Jarome in a nutshell. A superstar leads his team to championships, he is the player that others follow to war regardless of the game or the way it is being played. Very few players have been superstars, Gretzky, Lemieux, Beliveau, Orr etc...but Im afraid Jarome isnt one of them.
MJK: Seeing as this is the new word of the month in the CPHL, I might as well ask, is he Elite?
Cheese: He was a great player.
MJK: Who would win in a fight, Jesus or Chuck Norris?
Cheese: Nothing beats Chuck Norris. The eternal conundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when Chuck Norris punched himself in the face.
MJK: OK now you have to go back and look to see how many questions I have asked you.
MJK: Cheese?
MJK: Cheese you still awake?
MJK: CHEESE
Cheese: Huh, oh I am still here.
MJK: Is it past your bedtime?
Cheese: There is no bedtime in the Centre of the Universe, thats why I moved here. I can work, trade, and do anything all night long.....except now, Im too tired and as soon as I take my meds I am going to bed.
Thanks Cheese you were a great sport.

Beautiful.
Stilton cheese is a type of blue cheese made in England, and is sometimes referred to as the “King of Cheeses.” Stilton has been made since the 1700s, and has earned a protected origin designation, which means that only Stilton meeting a set of exacting standards can be labeled and sold as Stilton. Stilton is a popular cheese, with a flavor more mild than that of other blue cheeses, and is exported all over the world for a wide variety of table uses.
