Default Leslie Neilsen passes away in a hospital

In a hospital? What was it?

It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

RIP Frank Drebin

Many classic laugh out loud moments from the man, Airplane was an absolute classic and then of course Police Academy.

However, believe it or not the funniest moment for me was from all movies, Scary Movie 3. We won free tickets to the preimere and was a borefest of "football to the groin" type comedy that had the teenage audience yukking it up. Out of nowhere, as he wasn't part of the cast, at the very end of the movie he appears.

I was the only one howling in the theatre, likely the only one other then the wife who had ever seen Airplane.
World a less funny place with the loss of another Canadian.

A sincere thank you for everything he did to make me laugh during his lifetime. A natural comic genius. He'll be missed.

He was my favorite comedic actor. No one could pull off the Zucker style humor like him. RIP.

That's my favourite Leslie Neilsen movie line.

Such conviction.

Nielsen had a long and distinguished career as a dramatic television and film actor before Airplane! gave him a second career as a brilliant comedic actor.

He had the textbook deadpan delivery that made the spoof film genre before it was ruined by the Wayans brothers and the makers of Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, et al.

Huge loss, and he will be missed.

If Nielsen doesn't receive one of the loudest ovations at the next Academy Awards tribute, something is wrong. (Not that I care a whole lot about that)

This right here. The passing of George Carlin made me feel similarly sad.
