Default Limblifter/ Age of Electric

Apparently the guy who was the lead in Age of Electric and Limblifter released a solo album which may or may not have ended up in stores.

Anyway, I did find this song from it and it's not half bad. Was anyone here a fan of limblifter back in the day? It was pretty solid CANCON in the late 90s.

I was kinda into Age of Electric. Thought Enya was a sweet tune.

I miss early 90's rock. I miss early 90's Canadian rock.

Raises hand. I like Limblifter and AOE. The Dahle brothers have a good sound.

Their last album, I/O was after they fell off of the mainstream radar, but it is worthy of picking up for sure.

Ryan Dahle did some demo's with Matt Good a few years back that were awesome imo.

Ignore the non-video and just listen to the awesomeness that is Static In Stereo.

I see that Todd Kerns from AOE has been playing bass on tour with Slash.
He's on fb.

Loved both. The self titled age of electric disc is super good, same with limblifter. Those were the best two albums, imo. Subsequent albums did not have as much magic. Belaclava has some good points, and I/O as well, but didn't have the lasting power for me. I still listen to Make a Pest a Pet, but not as often as the debut albums.

Ryan Dahle is one of my favorite guitar players out there, definitely top 10. The guy is just incredibly tasteful and has a great ear for melody, I loved the early stuff that was more straight rock but have bought all the Limblifter albums and his solo release, finely crafted pop-rock.

I was in Vegas this past Aug and went to see the Sin City Sinners, unfortunately this was just after Kerns injured his eye and was out commission. Forced him to miss a few Sinners shows and the beginning of the Slash tour, very cool that Slash hired him back after he recovered.
