I think it was a little anti-climatic as there was such a massive chip difference going into the heads-up play.
Any other result would have been quite surprising.

I watched the live coverage from ESPN3 over the weekend. While heads-up was anti-climatic, the play down from the 9 was good and it will be interesting to see the hole cards to see who was running over the table and who was and wasn't actually getting good cards.
There were some really sick bust-out hands, so it should be a good show tonight.
The heads-up play last night was only entertaining because they had a drunk Phil Hellmuth doing commentary and he kept talking over everyone else and no matter what the topic of conversation was, he'd always turn it into a story about himself. Just before the final hand, they had the guy who came in third come into the booth and the main commentator would ask him a question, and Phil would cut the guy off and answer for him.

2 cards.
I'd be very surprised if they show more than 3 or 4 hands of the actual heads-up play.
My guess...

This is what's showing on TSN tonight, correct? I'm trying to help my wife keep from finding out until she watches it.

Yes. I believe it's on at 8.
Tell her to avoid any news websites today. I saw it spoiled on the Herald's website this morning. In the past, even the ESPN and TSN crawls have spoiled it during the actual broadcast, but I think they learned from that mistake.
Because the chip leader going into the final 9 is Canadian, it could get extra coverage from the Canadian media.

Thanks, she's watching it now. I had to avoid the evening news because I knew it'd be a story on it. The things we do for broads.

Boy, I was way off. They only showed 2 hands of heads-up and they didn't even show Racener's one successful double-up.
It was a good day for people wearing Habs jerseys.

I'm pissed. I know there was not a lot to choose from but the strategies involved in their actions (many times probably with nothing) would have been interesting to see.
Instead we get nothing.
