Icon60 Tampa Shuffles some D for F Prospects

In a couple of moves with the Ducks and the Sens the Lightning has gotten rid of a log jam of Defense prospects and brought in a couple some forwards that are ready to make the jump.

Key Additions

Dana Tyrell is a hometown Airdrie boy that GM Droopy has followed for a few years now.
In the WJC he was referred to as the "Darcy Tucker" of the team. A solid 2 way player with aggression.
It is nice to have him on our roster to see him grow into an NHLer.

New Tampa Forward Hansen happy to be given a better shot with the Lightning.

After the 2 trades here is what has shifted in and out.

Out:

Lee, Brian (D) NHL
Alexandrov, Yuri (D) AHL
Kessel, Blake (D) AHL
2011 3rd Round Draft Choice (la)

IN:

Tyrell, Dana (LW) AHL
Hansen, Jannik (RW) AHL
Hordichuk, Darcy (LW) AHL
2011 5th Round Draft Choice (stl)

Of the outgoing players we are disappointed in the development progress of Brian Lee. Once thought to be a solid top 4 lock on the NHL Senators, he seems to be progressing a lot slower. We feel he will likely be a bottom pairing nhler unless he figures out how to use his size more effectively.
