Bachelor Party in Toronto this summer (hotel & fun to-do discussion)
Gents,
My brother is getting married this summer in Kitchener-Waterloo, and i am getting stuff together for his bachelor party a few nights before.
We have some solid plans for the day, which i will outline later just so everyone can enjoy the bachelor party good times, but I am looking for suggestions for places to stay for the night.
It is going to be 7 guys, and i want to get a suite downtown for everyone to pre-game and good times in prior to the night. Basically, I want to get something massive that can be destroyed to the point of complete regret, and do it in style. Here are a few that i have checked out:
http://parktoronto.hyatt.com/hyatt/h...cale=&start=10
https://reservations.thehazeltonhote...ailability.asp (executive suite? ambassador suite? whichever was the best one...)
http://grandhoteltoronto.com/accommodations.html - i saw on some forum that this had bachelor party rooftop hottubs?
Anyway, if anyone has experience in this field, post up some suggestions...
As for the day, we were gonna hit up http://www.wildwaterkingdom.com/ during the morning for some good times, get ready, drink our face off, then go out for some gentlemans entertainment, clubs and general bachelor party shenanigans...
btw, we are all guys in the 24 - 26 range if that matters for suggestions...classy enough for my bro, but not an 18 year old travelodge hotel haha

Try the Thompson hotel or the new Ritz Carlton. The Thompson has an outdoor rooftop pool, definitely a party atmosphere.

When I did my buddies stag, I booked the Shooting Edge to start the night out. The guys still talk about that part of it like 10 years later. Not the strippers, not the boozing.... the guns. Never forget how cool it was when they turned out the lights in the stall, and fired the desert eagle .50. Not a word of a lie, a 15 foot flame shot out of the end of that beast.
Everyone had an absolute blast, even the anti gun guys. Highly recommended start to the night...... when you are still sober obviously.

If the groom works hard for his money, there shouldn't be any strippers.

I'm from Toronto, and honestly, I'd stay away from WWK. It's been years since I've gone, but it's always been a substandard waterpark - and it's more for kids. Nothing more disrespectful than having adults out and about making an ass infront of kids (no disrepect or anything, but it's like adults hanging out at chucke cheese). If ya'll want to do the waterpark thing, Canada's Wonderland wouldn't be too bad. For the night spot, move it over to Niagara Falls (CDN side of course). If you're looking for a peeler, Sundowner is the place. If you're looking for a club, DragonFly is a good place. But there is a little bit to do down there, so Niagara would be the choice if you ask me (it's also about 1 1/2 hour drive from Toronto).

I'm going to second the Niagra Falls suggestion. When I was there in September I remember thinking "I could get into a lot of trouble in this town without proper supervision..." That is bachelor party type of result for sure.

How many of you guys want/wanted Strippers at your bachelor party?
I dont know how my brother feels about them... i personally would rather avoid that crap and just have some fun good times with some friends, just go shooting, maybe catch a stamps game, drink some beers, have a BBQ with lots of steak.

It's not always about the bachelor. I know lots of guys who don't want them, but do it for the fun of it (the rest of guys want it). In fact, for May 24 I'll be in Vegas just for that! To be honest, I'm not a fan of peelers because they are one big tease, but I'm just joining the group one night down there on that one (I'm not the bachelor). Make the best of any situation you're in, that'll make it better, but if it were up to me, I'd personally spend minimal time there and just do something crazy...what that crazy is, I'm not sure.

Jays game.
I've never gone to a game with anyone, regardless of their interest, who has not thoroughly enjoyed the MLB experience.
Tickets are cheap and it's an atmosphere where you can shoot the #### without worrying about missing any significant plays (depending on your love of the game).
Definitely Jays.

i dont know about Niagra simply for the fact that most of everyone is coming from different locations, so it will be rough to get everyone there, then back to KW...
and good to note about the water park... honestly i was expecting some monstrous insane waterslides that would be ######ed fun
and dont hate on the peelers. its a bachelor party. we dont go every other week....
anyway, anymore club suggestions for toronto are good too..i think i was 10 last time i was there

Second the Brass Rail suggestion. Book the VIP table. Stay at the Sheraton - relatively inexpensive, and good location. Jays game - easy to get tickets and a good time. Hit Spadina at 4am for some Chinese, after the hookers & blow.

Forget the Brass Rail. You should go to the Brass Bull.

re: jays game...
checked the schedule, they are out of town playing the A's...so no dice
the idea behind the waterslides is that a) waterslides are dope... b) the average august high (this is just a random quick search) is 28 degrees...
either way, im glad i know that the water park is not the place of my dreams which would include insane waterslides shooting fear and excitement into my heart
is canadas wonderland actually cool and full of roller coasters?
