10 Questions with a CPHL GM: Enforcer
Hello CPHL GM’s. Today I am here with the GM of the Dallas Stars, Enforcer, and he has agreed to answer some of my wicked awesome questions.
MJK: Hey Matt, thanks for doing this. What is your favorite TV show of all time and why?
Matt: the Simpsons. the first one i remember seeing was 'lisa on ice' a hockey episode.
MJK: But why it is your favorite?
Matt: the show in its entirety?
MJK: YES, why it is your favorite show???
Matt: because no one is safe from being made fun of on it.
MJK: You gave me a headache.
MJK: You have high expectations for your teams this year. What makes the Dallas Stars better than most teams in the Western Conference?
Matt: nice timing on this question after a 1-4-1 start. our ability to frustrate other teams with defensive play.
MJK: Wow I didn't realize you were sucking so hard, what is going on?
Matt: no one other than burrows-dubinsky-knuble can score, fleischmann finally got a goal last game. burrows leads the league in scoring, and 2/3rds of the team doesn't have a point
MJK: Very interesting. Who was the tool that sent you Burrows?
Matt: somebody who lives in a much colder climate than i do. i once said players that play for this GMs team stay at hourly rate hotels because he trades guys away so quickly
MJK: I think the hourly rate has something to do with hookers. Speaking of hookers, if you had to spend 30 minutes with a prostitute, a stripper or a female escort, who would you choose?
Matt: the escort.
MJK: I notice your answers are very short and your grammar stinks, are you a two-finger typer?
Matt: no, i learned how to type in grade 3.
MJK: You could have fooled me! Also, typewrites don’t count. What was it like going to school in the 40’s?
Matt: i think you have me mixed up with cheese, i'm only 28 years old.
MJK: I'll let you know that Cheese is a very youthful 80-year old so you shouldn't poke fun at the elderly. That's my job.
MJK: If you were stranded on a deserted island and can only take three things with you, what would you take?
Matt: 3 good looking women.
MJK: OK. What three women would you take?
*5 minute pause
MJK: HELLO? Still there?
Matt: yeah i'm still here. anyone woman who knows anything about hockey would suffice. That is good looking.
MJK: Oh I thought you were searching for hot ladies on the Internet and were taking a 'break' but I guess it that was the case you would have been back a lot quicker than 5 minutes.
Matt: this is tougher than my last job interview.
MJK: Well McDonalds does have some tough hiring policies.
MJK: What do you do for a living now?
Matt: i work in accounting for a credit union.
MJK: I think we are at the last question. Is there anything else you would like to add about yourself that other GM’s might want to know or find interesting?
Matt: i live in cortland, new york, and am not really a flames fan
MJK: That is interesting and it explains your crappy grammar and writing skills.
