Habs looking to make changes
The Habs are looking to make fairly significant changes. We are mainly on the market to move the following players:
Forward
Marian Gaborik (75 OVR, 92 SC, 77 PA) - Yes, he gets injuries in the NHL, I am aware of that. His CPHL rating is very high and I will not just be giving him away.
Defense
Duncan Keith (77 OVR, 90 DF, 85 PA) - Norris winner last year, Norris favourite again this year. Needs a change of scenery.
Joni Pitkanen (72 OVR, 75 PA, 73 DF) - One of the top TOI guys in the league, plays a lot of minutes and is off to a strong start.
Sergei Gonchar (72 OVR, 75 PA, 75 DF) - Playing a lot of minutes in Ottawa. Still a very good d-man putting up good points. His contract is UFA but he's signed in Ottawa for 3 years so re-signing him to a deal next year there is no risk.
Goalie
Ryan Miller (87 OVR) - Aside from Kipper is the best goalie in the NHL, great ratings. He also needs a change of scenery; prepare to pay for the best goalie though.
I'll be on MSN periodically but please PM me with a base idea... I am looking to move these guys over the next 3 days. I will entertain upgrades, downgrades or laterals...
Prospects
Alex Burmistrov - Playing fulltime with the Thrashers as an 18 year old.
Shawn Matthias - 3rd line centre with the Panthers -- playing on a line with David Booth.
Mikael Granlund - 9th overall pick this past year, very good start to the season in the FM-Liiga
Jacob Josefson - Playing a bit with the Devils this year, has looked good.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson - The next Lidstrom...or so scouts say. 19 year old playing 20+minutes with PHX.
John Carlson - Calder candidate with the Capitals, playing big minutes
Zach Bogosian - ATL Franchise d-man.
With the prospects, I'm looking to upgrade players. Willing to package Gaborik with a prospect.
Thanks.
