Predators Make a Pair of Deals
Nashville made two quick deals today, adding some help on the blueline in both cases. The first was with Colorado and sees Angelo Esposito head to the Avalanche in exchange for Jake Newton. Pretty straight forward and gives us an extra dman in the AHL.
The second deal was with Washington and has a little more involved:

Basically we took a hit up front and added that to the blue line. If Brian Boyle turns out to be the real deal then we can look at another good young player making his home in Nashville. I like that he can play any position as that could be very useful for us this season.
