I always thought I would watch Lost after it was all over, but I have no desire to go back and watch it all. If this is the next Lost, I will keep up with it.
Looks like the next Flashforward to me. Interesting first couple episodes then the writers will run out of ideas and it will devolve into a typical cop/hospital drama.

I thought so myself, I just started watching Lost again a month ago and lemme tell you it's amazing the second time around, really enjoying it right now. Near the end of the second season right now.
There was a comedian on this week talking about how you can't go to a party and someone is recommending watching an entire series. Thats 100 1 hour episodes. A movie is fine or a book, but its like recommending to someone to read Time Magazine, all of them since the beginning.
Yes that was Last Comic Standing. He was saying that there are something like 200 hours of Lost. That is equivalent to watching 100 full lenght feature films.
I saw a preview on NBC. Thing that bugs me is they never say when the bloody show will start. Yeah, I know in the fall sometime. But throw me a bone. If you tell me the date, I can remind myself when it's closer. Otherwise I say screw it and forget about the show. I had until this thread came up. So hopefully before this show starts someone will post the date and then CP will email me now with the date and I will watch it. Such a process. I'm already intrigued NBC! Just give me the frickin date!
I'm going to watch at least the pilot just because the last line of the trailer is stuck in my head. "He's going to tell them.... about the event....."
Not many of these big budget, network t.v. dramas stick around past one season.
You mean, NBC? All signs point to being awesome but then it will be threatened of getting cancelled because of bad ratings despite the show kicking ass. (Chuck).
^^^^ Sunset on Hollywood Blvd. (or whatever it was called)
For what it's worth, this Event show is being showcased at quite a few tv festivals over the next few weeks, so we should get some sort of idea whether it's going to make a serious run.
