Blues and Kings Swap D

The Blues and Kings hooked up tonight in a pretty straight forward deal. Going to the Kings is Colin White and cash. The Blues get Matt Hunwick and a 5th.

Basically the Kings wanted some experience and a decent defensive dman. The Blues get younger on the backend with what we hope will be an offensive type.

The Kings were hesitant to part with Hunwick as we believe he'll turn out to be a solid offensive player; he's had success in the NHL in a previosu season. We needed to add another solid D man for depth and inquired to quite a few GMs and were happy to finally make a deal with St. Louis for White.

The D now looks like this:
