Three loud bangs and now a bunch of smoke billowing from there

The fireworks were going off near ground level.. the highest point any of the sparks reached was maybe 10 or 15 floors up.

Sorry, it was me celebrating the Canucks loss to Anaheim.

I always thought it was Princess Island park. Good to know its not called that.

When I was 4 or 5 years old growing up in Calgary, I thought it was Prince Edward Island that was walking distance from downtown.

heheh ... I can relate to that.

When I was young I thought that big, white ball tower out by Balzac was Epcot Center. Never understood why my parents wouldn't take me there when it was so close.

Back when downtown was a DMZ, I used to go there to tan. So did the strippers from the French Maid.
