Men: Would you choose a male or female doctor for a testicle exam?
I have to get one done very soon and this is the first time. I'm kind of embarassed to even get one and have held it off for some time.
On one hand I don't know if I could not get an erection with a female doctor and would feel very awkward with a male doctor. Anyone here that has had one done by both or either one that can give some advice?

Unless i have been getting the wrong type of testicular exam, you have to be a special kind of person to get horny with a doctor poking around at your junk.
For the record I have a very good looking female doctor.

If you are talking about a complete physical, I prefer a female doctor for the simple fact that they have smaller fingers. (I'm guessing directly opposite of MRCboicgys thinking)

I had this a couple of years ago when I had to get checked after some aches. I had my male family doctor do my nut check feel-up, and the ultrasound tech was female. Not even a slightly arousing experience, even with the ultrasound gel politely pre-warmed for me.
In the end it was actually a groin injury from soccer that initially started giving me some pain in the junk. Go figure.

For me it doesn't matter if the doctor is male or female as long as I trust them. I couldn't give a flying fata if my medical professionals are male or female (be it doctor, dentist, nurse, optometrist, or proctologist).
If I can't make a connection to trust what you're telling me, I don't want to dealing with my medical issues.
Male/female doesn't really matter. Be trustworthy and make a connection with me on some level, and be competent.

Like I said, I've never had one done before so I don't know how I'm going to react. Also never had a female touch my junk before and not get aroused so I'm hoping this time is different if I do choose female.

Take it from a guy whos had bilateral testicular cancer, it doesn't matter whos hands they are male, female, big, small, hot or cold well cold sucks but they are trained professionals looking for certain symptoms and your there to get an exam not a hard on so your not gonna "pop wood". Ive had more hands on my junk than Ron Jeremy and I dont care whos they are as long as they tell me what I want to hear.

I was afraid of an embarrassing involuntary stiffy or something, but in the end, the whole situation is pretty bland. The room is usually cold (or seems that way at least), everyone is professional about it, you know that they do this daily so what makes you so special, etc. Medical stuff is about as dry as you can get.

Good lord, my doctor is an older lady old enough to be my mother. I dread the day I find a lump somewhere and need to get it checked out. I think I'd probably just hold off until I succumb.
And for those who have a hot female doctor....share their names. Maybe it's time to switch.
