Well that doesn't seem fair I dressed up like a pirate and went to see kids in a school and they called the cops.

When celebrities take time out of their days to enrich their young admiring fans in manners such as this, it brings a smile to my face.
I love that Depp did this not out of contractural obligation, but because he wanted too. There isn't a soul in that class that will forget that day in their lives. It's unfortunate that he still required heavy security, but not surprising given his superstar, god-like celebrity status.

Dear Shakira:
Will you come to my office and join my mutiny against my co-workers?

He has always come across as a really good guy and it is good to read something like this, he did it for nothing more then to make kids smile.

By all accounts he sounds like one of the coolest guys in hollywood. Between this story, huge tips he gives at restaurants and the $2 mill donation he gave to the nurses who cared for his daughter, reality stars and socialites could learn a lot from him on being a proper human being.
