Default Modern Day Casanova Ideas

What's the sweetest thing you have done for your wife / GF? (I might need to mooch an idea or two) going through a tough time right now.

I don't have a LOT of expertise in this area but if you live in Calgary and flowers become part of your plan, I would recommend Itinerante Flowers. The store I use is in North Hill mall and it is much much better than most standard flower shops. Itinerante also has a few other locations I believe.

I'm not sure the whole depth or nature of the current predicament but a day at a good spa is usually much appreciated as well.

This is hot air ballon season, but it is expensive.

Cirque du Soleil is also in town right now. Reviews seem to be pretty good as well but tickets can be quite expensive, especially if you go the "tapis rouge" route.

Good luck sir!

None taken.

A bouquet of flowers
A sincere, handwritten love letter
Something frilly/fragrant for the bathtub
Lube
Cook dinner, or if you have kids, take them away for a weekend.

Spa Package / Hotel room for the weekend.

Bit on the pricy side, but Hyatt/Stillwater has something like that and it does go over pretty well. Bonus points if you have kids.

Shiat - joke already done.

Seriously, I would look at a hotel and spa weekend at the Banff Springs if you can afford it...

With you or without, depending on what you've done

Clean the house.... seriously. I LOVE it when I come home and the litter box is done and I don't have to scrub the toilet. Best present ever.

Do they still have the horse drawn carriage thing at the island downtown? Do that with some wine.

Wasn't Casanova a famous womanizer?

Whatever you do, don't send her flowers with this Casanova quote on the card: "Marriage is the tomb of love"

You could revisit a place that was important to you both when you were first going out.

If you don't normally cook, just making her an elegant dinner for two would probably impress her.

Step out of your comfort zone... and/or her vision of your tendencies/skills.

Look man, this is a tough crow to come into and ask questions about getting a girl to like you back.

I personally like some of the comments.
