I think there is a number of us up here, waving the good flag in enemy territory.

Anyone up for getting together for some good hockey talk, nachos, etc?

My thoughts are to designate a location so we can go there on the occasional game night throughout the year.

I'm thinking somewhere in mid-late July.

If you're going for nachos, try the Mayfield Inn. Some of the best I've ever had.

I used to work in Edmonton pretty regularly and would have joined you, but I threatened to commit suicide and the company transferred me out.

I'd be on board for that. Not really around for a lot of July but we could get er figured. I remember trying this a couple years ago for the SJ series but it didn't work out too well.

As for where, The Pint is a pretty good place that's centrally located. Although it may be tough to get in

that would work for me. I am 2 hours out but no biggie, I'd come in for that.
secondly my band is playing in Redwater, about 40 minutes out of Edmonton, on july 23/24 in case you wanted to head out that way for a get together.

Awesome Sample. I know Redwater well.

As far as location, we're much better off picking a "B" or "C" quality location so that we will be in a better position to convince them to turn the sound on during Flames games.
The Pint is too "A" quality.

Players is a pretty decent sports bar in Edmonton. Alot of tvs. Probably 30. Great food and good looking women.

No, we didnt get in. it seems places like that want promo packs and we dont have one. Kinda/sorta working on putting one together.

and ya, there's a bar in Redwater that hires bands.

Just as long as we pick something central. Actually, I can handle just about anywhere except for southside...north, west or central is fine for me.
