Salvage (Junk) Yards in Calgary for newer vehicles?
Just a question...is there any rhyme or reason to where newer junked vehicles go in this city?
Looking for a few specific parts off a late model (2007) GM SUV.
Back in the day I know pick-a-part on Barlow, and another one that you can see from Deerfoot but have to access from 12st SE, had good selections, compared to some others.
Back then though, I was looking for my junker 10-15 year old cars, not something 3-4 years old that would be there because of an accident or theft, as opposed to old age.
Do certain yards get better vehicles?
Just trying to save some time by hitting only a few and not having to call around either.
I realize that all the good parts that are worth anything (wheels, tires) are likely stripped off and sold in the storefront (at least IIRC they did before), but at least if I know where to go to find the yards that cater to newer vehicles, it would be a start.
