To Washington:
D - Craig Rivet (63 ov), 2 years remaining @ 4.5 M
1.2 M cap space
To Atlanta:
Prospect Brayden McNabb (taken 3rd round by Buffalo)

We made the move to free up 3.3 M in cap space and to get a good prospect and a 2nd rounder. Rivet was on our 3rd pairing and we needed to deal him to get a few more bottom 6 forwards on the team. McNabb has been invited to the Team Canada World Junior camp and is looking to be a decent dman. Hopefully the trade works for both sides.
