Boy it's gonna be hot today!
forecast says 101* With heat index at 111* 37*c feeling like 44*c
Right now at 5:30 am it's 80* (feels like 84*) that's 27*c feels like 29*c
Now I like warm weather but when the pool water is like 90* it just sucks.

It however does have it's advantages. Like being 55-60* on Christmas, no real chance of snow, women wear skimpy clothing a lot sooner and more often.

That's hot?? That's like every day this summer in Virginia. Last weekend was 105 both days, which were the 2nd and 3rd hottest day in our history! (I golfed 18 holes without a cart though on one of the days!). We've broken like every heat record there is this sumer. Most days over 100 degrees, hottest June on record. We've broken multiple daily records, some by 10-15 degrees! We had 5 days in April that we almost hit 100. and it hasn't really let off since. We are super humid too, so I think our heat index is always about 100!

Well here in Abu Dhabi at 5:00 pm local time, it is 43°C (109°F) with an unusually low 19% humidity, making it feel like a mere 47°C (119°F). That's pretty much what it's always like in the summer, apparently. The gulf looks like it's boiling in the evening.
It's my 3rd week here and you do acclimatize to it somewhat. As long as you have some air conditioning to escape to periodically!

I remember going to Doha every summer when I was in my early teens and getting so bored of sitting indoors that one day I decided to play soccer outside with some of the other kids in the neighbourhood in the afternoon. It actually wasn't as bad as you would think, you just need to stay hydrated.

Yeah, I just went out for a run and there are lots of other folks doing the same. It's doable as long as you're okay with sweating uncontrollably after you're done!

I agree. Give us a real summer- even for two consecutive weeks! For every decently warm day we get, we get about 5 cool wet days.

Your high is going to be 101, we're at 101 NOW and it's not even 1 PM. Still 4 more hours of heating to go.
Thankfully our humidity is down a bit from yesterday and we've got a southerly breeze.
I like having 4 distinct seasons, which is one of the reasons I want out of Kansas so bad. There are only 3 here, and on occasion only 2.

1 hour later and it's 106 F. A record will be broken today because 106 is the record for this date. I hope we don't break the all time record for any date, but I suppose that's possible. I don't want to know what 115 F feels like!

Hey, can you deflect that weather up here to Edmington? It's cloudy and 19.

Sarcastic?
I'd trade a +40 degree day for a -40 degree day any day of the week.

Suck it up. Besides think of all the booty shorts throughout the day.
Summer is suppose to be hot, since we have to deal with the cold for over half the year. I rather bake then be dealt with clouds and rain too often.

Topped out at 108 today, a new record for Wichita, KS. Forecast says 106 for tomorrow. It is still 105 at almost 6 PM.
I think those who love it when it gets this hot have to be mad.
