Wild dip into free agent pool
The Minnesota Wild are pleased to announced that they have signed free agents Dwayne Roloson and Mike Comrie.
GM Farhall:
"Dwayne gives us some stability in net. We expect him to come to camp and compete for the #1 job, along with Martin and Semyon. He's a solid veteran who was willing to join our club for a salary that worked for us.
As for Mike - he is one of the youngest free agents available. While he has struggled the last couple of years it is clear the skill is there. At minimum this year he can give us some offense from our bottom lines but we also think he can rebound to become a top 9 forward again, which is why we were willing to make a 3 year commitment"
As for whether the Wild are done spending Farhall added that they are comfortable entering the season with the team as it is, but refused to rule out taking a run at any other free agents".
