Default Anybody here ever installed chain link fence?

The back and sides of my back and side yard are chain link (as are all the backyards in my area) and I want to close off my back and side yard by running chain link perpendicular to the side fences to the side of my house (with a gate on each side of the house to gain access to the back yard).

Never done this before (working with chain link fence and posts) and never seen it done either. Is this a do it yourself type project? I have about 4 ft of chain link (including gate) to install on one side and about 10 ft (including gate) on the other side.

I did about 50 ft last summer and it wasn't very hard at all. I've never done it before, but did have someone helping who had done it once before - so by no means was he an expert.

Buy the materials from Rite Way fencing, not one of the big box stores. You will get the larger gauge material and a much better price.
