Default Computer stores in Calgary?

I'm looking to buy a GTX 460 video card and memory express is out. I know I could order online, but wondering if there are any other places to check in town.

Thanks.

Possibly LaTech, but they don't have the inventory of MemEx as they are more corporate.

Memory Express is basically it outside of the box stores, and with Memory Express you can pricematch from web stores too.

Memory Express, nothing else comes close in town.

These guys sometimes are good to check if MemX is out of stock.Although these guys have no 460's either.

I'm guessing you want that exact card for SLI so your best bet now would be online like newegg. here are their 460gtx.

I want the evga cuz I heard it was good. But mainly I wanted to do this build this weekend and Memory Express just sold out I think they have everything else I'd want in stock...

If I'm gonna order the GPU I might as well order almost everything, better prices.

Sadly there is a real dearth of any real competition with any competent stock aside from the varous MemEx's in the city. It's probably the critical mass of those kinds of stores around.

All the other shops seem to be out of date, overpriced, and have limited selection. I don't know how they stay in business. One store that used to be a good alternative to MemEx was BCOM computers which used to be across the street from Memory Express but their Calgary location went out of business.

Even MemEx has a very limited selection I've found. They only carry a few brands and I usually have to look online.

I agree, MemoryExpress is a decent store, but their lack of stock is frustrating. They also tend to be slow to get new products, video cards for example. They will do price matching, but it's a bit of a hassle, so unless I need something right away I just order online.

But it beats going to "Best Buy" and being raped.

You always have to do price matching anyway since their prices are always higher. Good for those of us in the know but I guess that's how they make their money.
