Anyone else pick up this game? I haven't played the series in a few years as I had been sticking with Madden, disappointed every year. I read that NCAA 11 was making major strides this year and Madden looks like more of the same old, same old. So I went and bought it and WOW!

Like every game it has it's little glitches, but there is nothing gamebreaking at all, and so far has been a ton of fun! Fully recommend it!

I'm glad you started this thread. I am in the same boat with the Madden games never really improving. I liked the NCAA games a while ago, but haven't played them the last 3 years or so. I was on the fence about picking it up the other day and decided I would rent it first... Only to remeber that movie gallery's are all out of business.

Will look to buy it now

I've gone from Madden 07, to NCAA 08, to Madden 10, and then I saw the difference from Madden 07 to 08. Is NCAA that much different from 08 to 11?

I like these games, but I am not that much of a die hard to be buying them every year like I do with NHL games. That is why I find the 3 year breaks to really improve the game.

Just to note, I still wouldnt buy this instead of Madden but its still very good.

Just hard to get into it not caring at all about US college sports.

That's kind of my thought. Will probably pick it up as a rental but I don't think I'll spend $70 on both NCAA and Madden.

I am not a huge follower of the NCAA, I watch maybe one game a week if I get the chance. But from everything I have read Madden did not do much to improve on anything other than online this year. Their off-line franchise mode is so broken and they are only going to start looking at it next year. So if you are an online gamer then maybe Madden is the right choice, but if you are busy like me and like to play solo, then NCAA is the game for you.

I haven't got a NCAA in probably 4 years and hate to say it but this one isn't much better than those older ones.

I was the one that started the whole tim tebow crying picture thing though. I wasn't so happy about htat

I was going to buy it (i buy it every few years, since it is fun to play with the stadiums and sounds right from the schools) and was going to get it this year, but with all the realignment on conferences, I'm waiting till NCAA12

They put custom conferences in, you can change to your heart's content.
