Grande Cache

How far and which route do you take when going to Grande Cache? Google doesn't seem to be too inviting with its nine hour travel time estimation.

Anything fun to do there? Going for a stag party so I'm sure we'll want to cause a little mayhem.

The scenic route would be the parkway up to Jasper then head north on #40 just before Hinton.

Grande Cache is a bit of a bitch as far as access goes. I recommend the above, or maybe HWY 22 to HWY 16 to HWY 40.

Also of note: it's the hometown of former Flame Dean McAmmond.

Screw scenery. We've got drinking to do! What's the fastest? Edmonton and up? How is the construction through the mountains going these days?
