Only a few years behind.... hopefully we won't have to wait as long for Hulu and Netflix to come to the console, but I'm not holding my breath.

But having the PS3 video store is a good start, for sure.

Has anyone tried it yet? Not bad 7 bucks for new release in HD. Keep on dreaming about netflix and Hulu we wont be seeing them for a long long time

Not a huge list of movies though. What does shaw charge for HD movies? I thought it was $6, but I can't recall.

I saw some HD rentals on there for $5.99 I think... maybe some are slightly more than others?

As for the list of titles, I recall seeing 800+ on there, so that's a pretty good library. Most are probably crap though, as with much of what Hollywood puts out.

I thought all the HD rentals were either 4.99 or 5.99, depending on how old the movie was.

Either way, it's not a bad price. I'll have to give it a shot in the near future.

Collections looks not too bad. 800+ movies, 400+ in HD.

I've been waiting for this service for a VERY long time. No more driving to Blockbuster to find out that all the new releases have been rented out.

Not that it's a big deal but you get to download Charlies Angels free if you log onto the Playstation Store and click the Videos tab at the top. You're suppose to get a redemption code emailed to you within 10 days.

Is that how it works? You just have to visit the store and they send you the code automatically in a few days? I clicked around in there for a while trying to find the free movie. I don't really care for the movie, but I wanted to test something out risk free!

Hmm. I just looked on playstation.ca. They must have more on the actual PS3 than they show on the website.

Apparently so.

I was confused too. I thought all I had to do was add it to my cart and it would say it was free but it didn't. I too dont care about the movie but it's a good way to see the quality of it without having to rent a movie like I did for the 360 and Paranormal Activity.

Yeah, new movies are $6 but $8 for HD. Older titles are different though.
