LF: Cheaper Motorcycle Maintenance

I just bought a 98 GSXR that needs new sprockets and chain. I don't think I can do it myself and i know the bigger shops (Bow cycle, Walt Healy and such) charge fairly high shop hours. Since it's an older bike I'm just looking for a competent reasonably priced mechanic. Any Ideas?

I've had my older Shadow in at TJs a few times, they're not really cheap but I don't get the feeling that they're crooks.
