I thought there were unlimited access accounts for a monthly fee (dealer/volume account)... there used to be for carfax anyway. Not asking anyone to pay out of pocket obviously.

I think carfax quit doing that. I went to look up a vin a few months ago and couldn't find the 'unlimited searches for 30 days' option.

My understanding is that Carfax records are often inaccurate for Canadian cars -- I would stick to Carproof, and yes it'll cost you $40-$60 to get it done IIRC.
