More Violence

Anyone hear about this. It was on the news yesterday

I got to the train station yesterday and there were cops all over the place.

I dont feel safe all of a sudden.

When will the violence end.....

I live in dalhousie area and this is the second major incident in our area this year. With the first being the shooting at Northland mall. What's going on? I thought I lived in a safe area.

Apparently there were 2 altercations at Dalhousie last night. First one at 6.30 and another around 8pm.

Hmm didn't hear about any of this. I'm lucky I chose yesterday to drive to school or I would have been going home right in the middle of those two times.

I heard they charged 2 people in the stabbings. Does anyone know who they were? I didn't catch any names. Just wondering if it was gang related again.

I'm surprised there are safety issues here. Stabbings and shootings aren't usually random, or strictly related to mugging, more often they're part of personal/professional disputes between people that are somehow related to one another.

I've got no fear of being stabbed or shot because I rarely put myself in the position to have that happen. If you're a hard-partying 20 year old 'fronting' to everyone in sight, then you should probably start watching your back.

the 'safest' areas of the city still have suburban kids buying drugs, which means dealers making deliveries.

point of fact many suburbanites might be shocked by the amount of seedy transactions going on at every block.

most violence of this nature i would attribute to drug deals gone bad.

Dang, Dalhousie has a C-Train station now? Our family used to live there but we moved to the states in 1993.

Actually, the C-Train goes all the way to Cochrane now























jk...just Dalhousie...but you should see how far south it goes...almost at Mexico
