My wife comes downtown semi-frequently for a lunch with me and I find it is hard to locate good 2 hr parking.
Does anyone know of a good spot to frequently find parking (on the cheap) around Bow Valley?
I wish the city had a map of where they have parking and for how long. Do they? My experience has told me that the city "meter" parking is the cheapest.
That is true, she is not willing to walk the extra 10 minutes. She is usually towing our two kids around with her, so I wouldn't feel right telling her to walk halfway across downtown.

The underground lot at Eau Claire Mall has lunch-time rates...3 hours for $5 starting at 11am

I thought this nice thing about a nooner was that you didn't have to worry about the kids.
The best by far is parking by the curling rink on memorial and then walking over the bridge through Prince's Island. It's $2/hr for the first 3 hours.
The next best is to park on the west side of Eau Claire, where it's $3/hr at a 3 hour meter.
