I can't believe you left out Xcode 4 and Safari 5! I'm really interested in the new Xcode IDE, actually. I'm probably more excited about that than I am about the new phone.

Also, slight plug for my favourite Mac site's Event Twitter: http://twitter.com/macrumorslive (note, it will only be updated when the actual event starts up tomorrow morning).

Edit: Non-Twitter feed: http://www.macrumorslive.com (again, only updated after kickoff) (also, it's formatted for iPhone)

If you look closely at this post you'll see the worlds smallest, shiniest, most intuitive violin playing just for you.

Last year I was in a golf tournament and missed WWDC and this year I'll miss it for the exact same tournament. I'm debating going unplugged for the day and hoping apple updates the keynote podcast series with it at night. They updated it same-day for the ipad and the OS4 update conference, so hopefully they'll do the same here.

That bingo card is awesome.

Unfortunately, I'm mostly interested in the iPhone anyway, and I have to work in the morning.. oh well. Though Office '11 has me curious...

WWDC is actually a pretty important event in the developer community. Today is the keynote, and the new iPhone will be announced.

Go build linux from source.

Anyone who has a Mac Mini or like me, an old Macbook attached to their TV just got a boner.

So I managed to convince a friend to hold off buying a new iPhone as the new one is coming out. So after holding off for a month on my advice, she bought one...yesterday...

Will also be having live streaming video coverage. Not sure if they will have video again of the keynote like they did for the iPad but they have people inside.

One last "Get a Mac" spot to kick things off?

Quote:
Word on the street is that Apple has filmed a finale commercial to the 'Get a Mac' series but this time with just John Hodgeman. The commercial was filmed at a bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn last week and get this: PC pretends to be a bartender and gets a guy drunk in order to get his hands on his new Apple prototype

Here's the spot that opened WWDC 07

Soooo... what's everyone's guesses as to updates for today?

Things that have been rumoured:
iPhone OS 4
New iPhone
Mac Mini
Mac Pro
27" display
Apple TV
Mac OS update
Macbook Air
Trackpad
Free Mobile Me
iTunes Cloud-based.
Any others?

Obviously, not all of those things are going to come out today, but some will.

My guesses for today:
New iPhone and iPhone OS
Mac Mini
Mac Pro
27" display
Trackpad.

No. It will be a free "lite" version. Think: Gmail.

If anything it would have been smart to wait for the 3GS to drop to $99. Honestly at this point I have no real interest in upgrading to the HD from my jailbroken 3GS which mulitasks as well as I need it to. I think the video quality on the device is already good, front facing camera doesn't matter to me, I've used the camera on the back probably once since I bought the phone.

Don't get me wrong, still very excited for the keynote, but I'm not on the edge of my seat this morning like I have been for previous announcements.
