Default Xbox360 controller for PS3

Was surfing around and found this little gem.

http://www.focalprice.com/GXA81B/Xbo...ter_Black.html

Allows you to use wired 360 controllers on a PS3.
I personally still find the PS3 controllers more comfortable, but I know there are those out there that think otherwise.
Not sure who would buy, but at least the option is available.

To this day, the Playstation controller is still the best controller I've ever used. Is it dated? Maybe, but why mess with a good thing? I find the Xbox controllers (both the original and the 360) too bulky for my liking. The worst controller of the newer gens was the Dreamcast. The dpad on there was just horrible, and it hurt the hands after awhile.

The reason I bought a 360 over a PS3 was the controllers.

You guys must have girly hands.

So now you can own a PS3 with a 360 controller, that's the point.

Both controllers have their merits; I submitted the link because I remember on one of the other discussion, there were some that liked the PS3 but wished they could use xbox360 controllers instead. I was trying to provide a solution, not to incite an argument.

I think I just prefer using the D-pad sometimes, and the D-pad placement on the 360 controllers hurts to use. I guess I could have girly hands, but then you could have a set of freakishly grotesque claws as well.

The 360 controller is so much better, minus the d-pad. The d-pad on the 360 controller is worse than useless.

But when do you use the D-pad? And why can't they get it right? I used my Blanka streetfighter controller if I want a D-pad, but even that is kinda spongy.

I am going to try to get the 360 running on the PS3.

I can palm a basketball and I like the PS3 controller more than the xbox controller.

I feel like I could tear it in half like a phonebook.

The only way I can stand playing PS3 is by using a USB Sega Saturn Gamepad which plugs right in and works instantly.

I have always found the PS3 controller to feel just right, but I have gone from PS1, PS2, to PS3, so it really is just what I'm used to. Other controllers just feel odd, but I have never really tried to like them either.

I like the 360 controller for FPS, for everything else, I prefer the Sony.

Remember the original Xbox controllers? Man they were big.

I much prefer the PS3 as a system, but I love the 360 controller more than anything else. I hate the triggers on the PS3 because they bubble out and it makes it easy to slip off.

Funny thing, I actually brought out my old NES last year when I read on the internet how to fix it (turns out, the ol' blowing into it to get the dust out is just a big myth and doesn't do anything). I had a blast playing a lot of the old games I had (Super Contra, TMNT 3, Double Dragon 2, etc). But I didn't realize how crappy the old controller felt. It was so rectangular and not ergonomic. I guess we've been spoiled by the newer controllers.

Well of course it doesn't do anything. You have to simultaneously blow into it, have a nervous breakdown, throw things, punch a wall and sacrifice a goat. Everyone knows that.
