Default Calgary for Boardwalk? Banff as Park Place?

As some may have already heard, they are coming out with a new Canadian version of Monopoly

They are taking votes on their website to decide which Canadian cities to place on the board. Here's the link to vote. you have to register using an e-mail address and then you can vote up to once per day.

The voting ends this week, so if you want to vote for Calgary, better get at it!

For boardwalk or Park place...pick any parking lot in Downtown Calgary.

Fata.

As of the last time the leader boards were up, Calgary slipped to the red properties. Banff is a wildcard vote, and wouldn't be in the boardwalk/parkplace spots.

There's 20 days left. Only the wildcard nominations end this week.

Calgary was up in the Green properties last week. all it takes is the media to mention something in any given city, and they go up in the voting quickly.

How can you tell Calgary is in the Red properties? When I look at the leader board, all the cities are blanked with a '?'

Where would the wildcard cities end up? Is there a designated spot for them?

Make you're not voting for other popular cities as your second and third choices! Edit: or better, bullet vote (i.e. leave 2nd and 3rd blank).

That's right! and don't forget to vote every day. If you have more than one e-mail address register your extra ones and vote more than once per day

Default Vote for Banff!

Now that Monopoly's vote for the Canadian cities is over, there is still voting for the wildcard cities, and Banff is one of the ten wildcard cities.

Be sure to vote everyday and if you have more than one e-mail address be sure to register it, so you can vote more than once per day!

Here's the link.

Am I the only one to find Monopoly isn't a very good board game?

^^ I'm just surprised that only one company makes this board game.

Try the Farming Game. Playing that will give you a whole new appreciation of the quality of Monopoly.

It isn't that great, throw in all the ridiculous house rules and it becomes a total bore.
