Default Garden Fountains

So I'm pretty inept when it comes to handy type stuff, and am looking for some help. I have a water fountain in the backyard, i plugged it in today and it's not doing anything. So I moved some of the rocks around and followed the extension cord, and can't seem to find an on switch. Anyone have any experience with these that could give some suggestions? It appears everything is plugged in. Should there be an on switch?

Thanks

Is the pee-hole plugged?

Is the plug working? Sometimes you have to reset the outdoor plugs. At least I do once in a while. I think moisture gets in there and trips it.

Is it anything other than simply a water pump in an existing structure? Most water-feature type pumps don't have on/off switches. Just plug them in and they should go. Did you try resetting the your electrical outlet (oops, as CM ONE also suggested)?

Yeah, definitely check the outlet before going any further.

If you locate the receptacle and it is not a GFI, there is sometimes a GFI breaker in your electrical panel that can be tripped (it may be a little blue button, on a breaker that is different then the rest).

Even if the CFI at the back door is not tripped, check the other external outlets, if they are tripped they are all tripped, at least at my house.

Thanks for the advice. What do you guys mean by tripped? I went downstairs and the outdoor pluggins are turned on on the breaker.
