Police have laid a criminal charge against a former employee at a popular high-end restaurant who is accused of surreptitiously filming people in a washroom.
Steven Craig Smith, 36, was charged with unlawfully making a video recording -- a voyeurism charge -- stemming from a May 2, 2010 incident.
Police allege Smith was hiding a cellphone with video capabilities within a staff-only washroom of River Cafe, in Prince's Island Park.

Never been there, any hotties work there - given their prices I assume so.

I don't think I've ever seen a hot employee there. While being a rice restaurant it's kinda a granola'y place and the staff (from what I've seen) resemble that. Sorry to ruin the fantasy.

The sign of a truly good restaurant is one that can be successful without having to resort to these types of hiring practices. Muse in Kensington comes to mind, as well, as they employ mostly men seasoned in the service game.

Personally I prefer a place like Schanks Sports Bar where they hire waitresses juuuuuust hot enough that you almost don't realize the wings are dipped in 1/2 hotsauce, 1/2 ketchup.

It seems like there are way to many creeps like this around these days. Time to get tough with these guys and give them longer jail sentences.

It's possible it was a joke in bad taste, I can't see anyone seriously doing this for personal satisfaction.
All the porn you could ever want (and more) is easily accessed now.

Really? There's cases like this all the time. I think the idea is that these people get off on it being someone they know or have come in contact with.
