Just a heads up for the nerds of the board, the full out theatrical trailer for Star WArs Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is to air tonite during the O.C. and will be available online on Starwars.com soon afterwards. I don't know what time it's going to be online though...
I don't watch The O.C. so thank god I can FF through it with my digital recorder.

Just downloaded a bootleg, watched about 10 seconds and good god this is going to be great! Didn't watch more than that because the quality was horrendous.

Well I thought the previous two were going to be great and boy oh boy was I wrong. Hopefully this makes up for the first two, but I'll beleive it when I see it. Which will be when I can rent it....

In your opinion... Episode I and II were great in my opinion. They definetely had their faults, but so did the Original trilogy... Luke in a New Hope for example is still the most annoying character in Star Wars, even more so than Jar Jar.
I don't know if some fans expected Tie Fighters and X-Wings in the first 2 episodes but they are hardly as bad as most people make them.
This can be discussed to death and has been, but I'm not on the Lucas hating bandwagon... He's the creator of Star Wars and who am I to argue something that his imagination made him to write? It's his story.
I will admit however, that i'm not a big fan of his work as a director... But from the snippet of the trailer.. it has that dark feeling of The Empire Strikes back, in fact more so.. which is something i've been waiting for since I was 10 years old.

Man, Star Wars fans are so gullible.
Before the first one: "This is going to be the greatest trilogy of films ever!"
After the first one: "Well yeah, that sucked. But mainly because of Jarjar. Since they're getting rid of him in the second one, it's going to be awesome!"
After the second one: "Well yeah, that sucked, too. But how can the third one not be brilliant?"
After the third one: "Okay, so that was even worse than the first two. But George Lucas is selling some of his personal excrement on e-bay! I hope they don't run out of before my order goes through!"
But then, I've actually convinced myself that the HHG2G movie is going to be good, so I might be as much a fool as anyone.

I agree with a lot of what you say there Jordan. Its just the dialogue in episode I was sooooooo bad. Episode 2 was mildly better. They just turned me off from getting excited about 3. Kind of like Spider-Man 2 ruining all future Spider-Man movies for me....

Fair enough... I actually find myself skipping over a couple of scenes in Episode II. Basically all the love scenes, they were terribly directed. But all in all I do enjoy both films quite a bit.
I think Lucas's dream all along was Episode III that's where everything comes into fruition. Episode I and II were just fillers really.

Do you think they'll ever make the last three into movies?

For nerds of a different feather, the show will feature 5 songs off Beck's new but unreleased album.
Bonus Question: Which parent company is behind The O.C, Star Wars flix and Beck's music?
Hint: it starts with an F

I'm not afraid to admit I am a big fan of the old star wars, the new star wars, Beck and the OC! So this is going to be a good night for me! I must just be simple minded and easy to please I guess.

I've never watched The O.C. but love cheesy shows. Plus some of the chicks are hot. Would I like it?

HHG2tG is the geeky acronym for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Episodes 4-6 were brilliant, 1 and 2 were absolutely horrible. Their casting for the Skywalker character kills the series. Hayden Christensen has the personality of a block of wood.
That said, I'll probably watch #3, but I won't be in a huge rush to see it.

I think my expectations have been lowered enough that as long as Vader kicks ass and takes names I'll be happy.

Oooohhh. I'm old and not hip to the internet acronym thing. I saw the trailers for that movie. Looks interesting. I'll check it out.
