I've had relatively good success on eBay except in one area - clothes! Sizes never seem to work out for me. I bought a pair of Bludstone boots off of eBay and unfortuantely they're about 0.5-1 size too big for me. (I have differing sized feet)

I stuffed a Montrail insole from MEC in there and it's helped but I really need to cut down on the fore/aft foot movement, rather than the vertical. Would one of these Dr. Schol's heel cup inserts work? Anybody have any other tips?

Much appreciated,

I know mall-outlet type places like Transit, Pegabo, Aldo often sell inserts that just wrap around the back of the heel on the inside, essentially doing exactly what you want; shortening the length of the shoe/boot.

Try that.
