Congrats to the Habs for getting through. Too bad we couldn't make it a closer series.

Ouch.. tough loss in double O/T as the Thrashers get a PP goal.

Its all or nothing tomorrow now for us.

Wasn't a must win game, but one we wanted a win in as it was a pivotal game 5. Barret Jackman plays hero scoring the winning goal in double OT to give Atlanta the 5-4 victory. Had a bad first period and fell behind 3-1 before we tied it at 3 and then tied it again at 4 on a goal by Stortini.

We now have a 3-2 series lead with game 6 in Ottawa on Friday night. Ottawa has a solid team and we expect a hard fought game like every game this series has been so far.

Well this was an odd game...shots were 18-17 as both teams were rather hesitant to come out. But we ended up coming out top 2-1 in a hard-fought battle. Vermette plays his best game of the playoffs as Rick Nash got kicked out of the game so someone had to step up. We're definitely excited to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time ever.

Good season again by the Caps to make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs yet again...although I'm not all that upset the series didn't go any further.

Now we wait for the winner of the Thrashers-Sens...both teams will be difficult to play against so it should be entertaining.

Wooo! Bruins move on to the 3rd round with a 6-3 win. Despite Hartford's far superior goalie ratings we were able to get quite a few past Bacashihua over the course of the series.

3 Stars
1 - Krystofer Kolanos (PRV)
2 - Petteri Nokelainen (PRV)
3 - Aaron Rome (PRV)
