Hey all, I've never paid for a cell phone, and my wife has never had a cell phone, but she's bugging me for one now. Can I get some direction on the cheapest phone with the cheapest plan for someone that will only use the phone for emergencies?

Yeah, do what FanIn80 said or go to walmart and get a prepaid from Virgin. Put $20 on it and you are good for a year.
