Default Any fellow golfers tried the Medicus Driver?

My wife(and myself to a certain extent) needs a lot of help with her golf game... and all she does is yell at me when I offer advice!? Anyways, we have purchased a lesson pack from NGA, but I am also considering the Medicus driver as a training aid- slicing the ball 30yds is a tendency of hers, and medicus seems geared towards fixing that.

I could really use the help as well if the product ends up being good, as my driver is pretty wild at times.

I don't really know too many people that have tried it out, so I thought I would check with CP. Anyone have a review they would like to throw my way?

I've read the online reviews, but would probably trust the advice on here a lot more...

Me and my bro and sis bought it for my dads birthday next week.

Anything that can help his game would be great. He loves to golf and is great at the irons and putt game, but his drives are wild like a mexican whore.

And we all know that you only enjoy golf when you get a few good driver shots

did you purchase from official website, or at Golf Town? I'm pretty sure that Nevada Bob's has an imitation and not the Medicus itself.

Let me know how long delivery took if you purchased online.

I have it and I love it. i bought it through their site and got the 7 iron as well, but I never use that one at all.

I find it helps me, especially when I swing it before teeing off on the first hole. I like how it is a bit heavier than my driver now.

One piece of advise, don't give your real phone number when you order one. They will call you like crazy trying to sell you other clubs. They called me for like 8 months almost, was very annoying. Shiping was pretty quick, i think it was about a week and a half

I tried my friends last year... I didn't find it helped me much at all. Maybe because I have a perfect golf swing

But I think for beginners it really helps them with their motion. So it would probably do good for your wife and people with wild swings.

Ebay. 110US + 30 shipping + 5$ handling fee + 5% GST on the 110.

I have been getting a 6 pack of private lessons every spring for the last few years. Game has improved by leaps and bounds as a result. This would just be a supplement- even if just for a warmup device.

My wife signed up for 3 lessons, so we'll see.

I know the group lessons are cheaper and you could probably purchase more as a result, but I much prefer the private ones.

Good to hear. I know or have seen so many people spend $100's and $100's on silly gimmicks and never get a lesson. Not saying this won't help you but just from my experience I have seen it far too often where people skip the step of actually getting a real professional to teach you.

Good luck with your game!

I have been golfing off and on for a few years now, I have a crappy set of clubs I got as a present a few years ago, they have served me well as learner clubs but I think I am ready to move on.

I find they are way to short, I am looking for a new set of irons right now, I am 6"3 so something longer would be nice.

Any suggestions on a good second set of clubs for someone who is really still learning, for around the $200 price range? I don't want to go all balls to the wall on my clubs just yet since I still don't know how to hit properly.

From the other thread about golf season...

This set isn't bad for a starter.
