Site Move Pending
In the coming weeks we will be moving the site to a new server. This is in part to help address the performance of the forum during very busy times.
One important thing to know during a move like this is that you will have to re-log into your account (if you have one) after the move; the check box for staying logged in doesn't work for a move like this. So please ensure that you know your site password, and that your forum email address is up to date so that if you forget your password you can still regain access to your account.
If you forget your password (i.e. you are set to stay logged in) there are ways of retrieving that password from your browser, post a thread in the Help forum if you require help on how to do that.
If your email address is incorrect, PM the Moderator account with a new email address and we will change it.
Hopefully this goes smoothly but we appreciate your patience if we experience some bumps on the road.

Crash is not the term you were looking for. That implies that something dies or fails. It doesn't crash. It gets over-loaded to the point where it can't keep up with the volume of request that are coming down the pipe.

At the moment everything's running on one server, with the new setup there will be 2, one for the database, one for the applications (vBulletin, Wordpress, etc).
