Great episode, Rob shows that he's smarter then people give him credit for when he used other competitors money to bribe a bus driver to slow down his teams opponents.
The common theme in reality shows is that people get thier feelings all bent out of shape when they get taken advantage of or lied too.
Duh for a million bucks I would screw over every member of Calgarypuck in a game like this and not even think twice.
Rob and Ambah completely and utterly dominated this thing.
And if you had to go shopping which you know is going to take a lot of time, or haul 180 books straight to a library, which would you pick. I know what I would pick

yep good call Capitaine!
At this point it looks like Robs brain power and the KNOWLEDGE that you dont win a game like this by being "friends" could and probably will win them another million dollars. Itll take a catastrophe for them to lose the race....which could happen.
They work VERY well together...as other teams bitch and whine they simply get it done!

The two hot blond girls.
I was kinda hoping that the gay couple would have been beaten down over the rigged scale thing. Not because they're gay, but you have to be stupid to go into a 3rd world fish market and yell at the guy who owns the market

I think they're being a little too antagonistic. I don't think his little plan with the bus doors really bought them that much time, and I'm pretty sure there will be retribution further down the line.
Maybe someone will pull the gate down like they did on AR6 with Freddy. Smack Rob right in the face. I hated the guy on Survivor and sadly he's still a ******....

Of course, that's only true if you're able to take all the books in one trip - which only a couple teams were able to do. The blondies made up a lot of time on the beach boys by choosing shopping.

Does anyone wonder what kind of "appearance fee" Rob and Amber got for playing this game? Im sure ratings are way up with the Bawston bad boy on the show.

well before this show started I was predicting a solid finish by Rawb and Ambuh, so I guess I'll stick to it
it's just very hard for other teams to 'take down' another team in AR...other than to use that thing where you get to make a team wait for 15 minutes or whatever
do you think anyone is going to succesfully be able to lie to Rawb and get him on the wrong bus? I doubt it
and he is a bright guy, accent or no
I'm sure I'd hate the guy if I knew him, but he's great TV. I hope he wins actually (although there are other good teams this time around also)

I must say I have changed my mind, and enjoy seeing Rob and Amber on AR. I am impressed with Rob's cut-throat tactics, and they as a couple are doing very well as a team. It will be interesting to see how lovey-dovey they will be when faced with some adversity.
I have a feeling Rob will set a new trend in how future seasons of AR play out though, just as each season of Survivor learns from the last. He has raised the bar in screw-thy-neighbour.

I think that many teams would really consider using the yield on Rob and Amber and hope that they do.
My rpoblem with Rob is he does all these little things like pay the guard and bus driver that really get him a very little advantage and then acts like he is the smartest man in the world. I really hope he loses this race.

He came in 2nd in the first show, and 1st in the last show did he not? Small moves indeed but it's working.

Well I guess that is kind of my point as well.
They are good enough to compete with the teams without resorting to these stupid little tactics. They finished first this week more so because they made the first flight and then were able to move the books in one trip.
I think that instead of patting himself on the back for these "tricky little moves" he should play the race straight up and they would be one the top teams all the time.
And hell he can keep pulling these moves I just think that they are unneccesary and certainly not worth all the praise he gives himself for them.

These things he does are great. They p*ss the other teams off and cause them to focus on Rob and Amber, and not on the race itself.
