Google Chrome Problem

So, I decided to try Chrome and actually see if it works better than Firefox. Firefox has been crashing quite a bit lately and its pissing me off.

Course, it doesn't help when I try to login to CP or any other forum, Chrome doesn't actually log me in. It goes right back to the login page. If I clear my cache, it works for one forum, but not for a different one.

I installed and uninstalled Chrome in 2 min. You go Google.

I'm about to jump on the chrome wagon here pretty quick. Using Firefox 3.6.3 for whatever reason I never stay logged into CP. Even jumping between threads I get logged out seemingly at random.

Hmmmm I use chrome at home and have had no problems like you describe. Are you browsing in 'incognito' mode? Not sure if that would cause it but that's the first thing that popped into my head.

Nope.

I even changed cookie settings and it didn't help any.

If I do a Google search apparently a lot of people have that problem. Too bad, because I was right and ready to give up on Firefox.

Been using Chrome since it's released and I've never had that problem.

I used it when it was released but switched back to Firefox when opening a .pdf would kill Chrome. I recently decided to give it another chance and I am not totally disapointed.

On XP it is fast, but crazy unstable.

On Vista it is stable but not as fast.

On Windows 7 it is fast and a little bit unstable.

Now that there are a lot of extensions for Chrome, I might never go back to Firefox.

I use Chrome on my Mac's and PC's. No stability issues or forum logouts as you describe. Not sure how to help you, but all I know is that it's not happening to me.

Doesnt happen to me.

I have been using chrome for a few months now on Windows 7. My only problem is trying to use favorites, but i love how you can just google search from the address bar.
