Bell HD PVR question

I have a rental 9200 that I've had for a few years now and have a bunch of shows and movies saved on it. The HDMI port has died on it and they are shipping me a replacement.

The question is, how can I transfer the content onto an external drive? (I've read the 9200's USB port is not enabled)

Or is there someway I can transfer the shows from one to the other?

I think your best bet would be to get a DVD recorder.
Another way is to get a video capture card for your PC. You can get one that will record HD through the component cables but it isn't cheap.
There is also a program to transfer programs from your PVR to a computer.

If you can live without the PIP and the second TV option, I'd opt for the 9241 as you can use an external Hard Drive, so you won't run into this problem again or wait till later this year for new receiver to come.
