Default Kimberley for the summer

I have recently scored a job for the summer that will have me move out to Kimberley. I am young college student so I’m fairly excited to say the least. I get put up on the mountain and a vehicle to drive.
So my question for the CP is what is there to do out in Kimberley. I frequent to Whitefish so I understand the mountain community and all, I am just wondering about hot spots. I enjoy fishing and golfing. Is there any rivers or small lakes out there I should be heading too? And golf courses, I heard they have tournament courses… is there one to consider a memby at?
To sum this up… have you been and what did you enjoy the most. I have 4 months out there so I want to take advantage.
Thanks guys and gals

Trickle Creek is one of the best courses in Canada. Bootleg Gap and St. Eugene's Mission are also fine courses to the south.

However, beyond golfing, hiking, fishing, camping, waterboating, wakeboarding, sunbathing, drinking and ATV'ing, there's not much else to do.

Make friends with the locals, buy a round at the Sully.

The stay and play packages are great, even if you live in Calgary it's worth the drive to play twice on the weekend and stay for around $300.

Mcoy's is a fun par 3 about an hour from there. Built on an old farm. We hit it up every time we're out that way.

Julyfest is always a blast. I was in the Bocce tournament there last year and had a great time.

I was there a few years ago in a slo-pitch tourney, I believe it was for Julyfest as well. The bocce tournament looked like a pretty fun time, lots of people involved and a LOT of booze being consumed. The bocce seemed kind of secondary to the drinking, actually.

You could smoke lots of weed. I know that is pretty popular with the locals.

Mountain biking.

Go swimming at WASA lake. It's really warm and you bound to see a good number of Milf's.
You might even see my wife. We spend some time in Kimberley every year. We love it.
