Thanks

How inexpensive is inexpensive?

Go here and look in Calgary NE and NW:

http://www.memoryexpress.com/ClearanceCenter.aspx

Click on HDD. A variety of different 500GB drives for $45, 750GB for $55 and
a 1TB for $65.

WD External 1TB for $105 too.

Yeah, I always shop at memex. Best prices in town and they price match if they're not.

Just looking for some second-hand drives that folks have upgraded from and don't want anymore as I'm just using them for backup storage/clones for the various machines in the house. Lots of folks have gotten the cheap 1TB drives or larger and have their old 500 gig drives sitting on a shelf depreciating. Might as well sell them, right? For example, I've been offered a 750 gig SATA drive with warranty for $35, several 500 giggers with warranty for $30...and the like.

Got a couple. Could use another 1TB, 750gig or 500gig drive.

LOL, no just a lot of computers to back up. We've got my home pc with three hard drives, my laptop, my wife's laptop, the kids' pc with two hard drives and my daughter's laptop.

After that fire in Millrise last week, we decided to get a fire-proof safe (Costco's got one on sale right now) and put all our data and pictures etc. in a nice, safe environment, just in case. Would hate to lose everything like a lot of those folks did.

Got what I need now, so thanks for all the suggestions.

Seeing as Moeman is done, if anybody has any 160 GB+ SATA drives let me know.
