They were just ranting about this on Rutherford this morning. Coincidence? The old bat probably heard people whining about her and her tube-breathing friends and decided to go piss people off for fun.

The only way it could have been worse was if the driver had a dog on her lap! Man I hate that. There is no reason for a dog to have to sit in your lap while you drive!! Its so stupid and dangerous. Should be illegal, its just a bad (if not worse) then driving while texting or talking on your cell.

That's bad, but at least dogs don't explode if you crash.

I cant say I disagree. Some times when people age they cannot preform actions well enough to keep up with the societal average.
When my dad told my grandma she shouldnt drive anymore I remember the verbal beating she tried to give him.

Why just the old people? We don't we make it so that everybody has to re-do their license? Every 5 years you have to do another test; alternate between written and driving test so that each is tested every 10 years.
Nobody has tested my driving ability for over 20 years, and my father has never taken a test. It wasn't until my sister took driver's ed that he found out that there is a rule about who has right of way at a 4 way stop.

I was behind what I thought was a man merging onto deerfoot from memorial at 9am this morning. He had an oxygen tank as well! But even better he had a sign in the back of his window that said something like "You are worse then a hemorrhoid on my ass" I couldn't make out exactly what it said because it had snow on it but hemorrhoid and ass were in large font. It was a hand made green sign - I tried to take a picture but my phone couldn't make out what it said. I assume this was because he gets honked at a lot because he was doing at least 20 under the speed limit.
Could of been the same dude, small green car I believe.

How is it any different then people yakking on cellphones/texting and other jackass distracted driving? Is it because they are old? The driving 75 kmh would piss me off, but I don't see how being hooked up to oxygen while driving is necessarily bad. Its entirely possible to be a bad driver with good lung function or a good driver with bad lungs.

Speaking of exploding dogs, don't you hate when you're having a smokie and when you take the first bite there's a supernova of hot juices and grease that destroy the inside of your mouth?

In case of an accident, what part of gasoline + fire + pressurized oxygen sounds like a good idea?
Whether it's for breathing purposes or not, I believe that it's illegal to drive with an oxygen tank in your car (at least some places).

Ok. Cars don't explode /catch fire when they are hit. Thats a movie thing. Are you saying that compressed gas cylinders shouldn't be allowed in motor vehicles? Fine. All the people driving around with propane powered vehicles and welders carrying oxygen and acetylene in their rigs, as well as respiratory threrapists transporting oxygen to their clients might have an issue with you.

How does this even make sense? Some people require oxygen at all times, can they ride in a car as a passenger? What's the difference between them being a passenger and driving?
