Default FS: nearly complete set of dishes

Anyone on here need plates?
Dinner plates, side plates, bowls, large "steak" plates, etc.

Tried a couple charities to donate, but no luck yet.

Maybe there is someone on here just sitting there wishing he/she had more plates.

They are nice, would likely compliment any kitchen decor...from the 80's.

Cost: $5, just cause I have to put a price on them. But I'd likely accept anything shiny.

Half price if on pickup you tell me how much you miss Firefly. The show not the gimpy poster!

Loved in the sense that it's off-air now. Still love it.

They will take them dropped off but not picked up. And only if they like the looks of them. Will probably use this option.

I remember trying to take a bookshelf, microwave and a computer monitor there one time.

Goodwill person: "Are they new?"
Me: (trying my hardest to avoid disdain or sarcasm) "No"
Goodwill person: "We only take new."

Is our city in such fine economical state that the dowtrodden and poor will only take new donations?

I still have the wig/beard thing you brought over last time. Hmm, maybe this is a good idea.

Hmm, I go to the Goodwill in Varsity; they have a donation centre and I just put stuff onto the floor to go with the other 50 zillion things there.

I can't believe how picky some of these donation places are. My mom had an old fridge and stove that worked just fine that she wanted to donate. I called Goodwill and asked them if they were interested in working appliances. She asked what colour they were, I told her 'almond', she said 'no thanks'.

Okie dokey. Didn't know that people without appliances would rather cook on an open fire than be caught dead with 90s coloured appliances.
